  • Plans for a new takeaway in Camelon have been rejected by Falkirk Council

Plans to open a new takeaway in Camelon have been rejected by Falkirk Council, after being unanimously thrown out by the planning committee.

An application was made to open a new takeaway at 102 Glasgow Road, opposite the former Wrangler factory which it is hoped will soon be the site of new development.

However, concerns were raised by councillors about parking and road safety, and there were also issues with environmental health.
